This spectacular event invites runners from all over to experience one of Scotland's most scenic ultramarathons. ### Jedburgh Three Peaks Ultramarathon #### Distance: 38 miles #### Race Date & Time: Saturday, October 24th, 2026 at 8:00am #### Location: Starting and finishing in Jedburgh (TD8 6JQ), the race offers a challenging yet rewarding course through picturesque landscapes. Entry Fee: £60 Limited to 300 runners with waiting list availability. Registration takes place from 6:30 am until 7:45 am at the Jed Thistle Pavilion, located beside the Lothian car park (TD8 6JQ) off the A68 main road. Runners can enjoy changing facilities and leave their kitbags in communal areas during registration hours. Compulsory Kit: - Emergency foil blanket - Waterproof jacket or smock with taped seams and hood - Fully charged mobile phone The route is fully marked, and a GPX file of the course map is available on the race website. Checkpoints are strategically placed at 10, 17, 21, and 28 miles along the way, offering water, Coke, drop bags for personal items, and live updates online. Upon completion, all runners receive a tech t-shirt (if requested), a finisher's medal, and goody bag. For those entering after October 8th, there may be limited sizes available; in such cases, a £6 refund will be provided on race day if you opt out of the shirt. Post-race amenities include free tea/coffee and homemade vegan soup with freshly baked focaccia at the Jed Thistle Pavilion. Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers in each gender category as well as age categories (V50, V60, V70). Additional spot prizes recognize runners who demonstrate exceptional sportsmanship. ### Jedburgh Three Peaks Relay Race #### Distance: 10+ 7 + 11 + 10 miles #### Race Date & Time: Saturday, October 24th, 2026 at 8:00am #### Location: The relay race mirrors the ultramarathon's route and checkpoints. Each leg is marked clearly for smooth transitions. Entry Fee per Team (up to 4 runners): £120 Limited to 25 teams. Relay registration follows similar procedures as the ultramarathon, with detailed information available on the event website. Teams must include at least two members and provide full runner details by October 4th. Compulsory kit is identical to that of the ultramarathon runners: emergency foil blanket, waterproof jacket or smock, fully charged mobile phone. Each team member will receive a tech t-shirt (if requested) upon completion, along with medals and goody bags for all finishing teams. Post-race amenities include free tea/coffee and homemade vegan soup at the Jed Thistle Pavilion, where showering facilities are also available to runners who bring their own towels. Trophies are awarded in categories including first female team, male team, nonbinary team, mixed-gender team (any mix of genders), and veteran teams (all 60+). Spot prizes are given for standout performances beyond running ability. Both events support local charities through profits from race entries.
