Experience the exhilarating Jerdon Mountain Challenge this July! Set in the picturesque Old Fort area of North Carolina, this race promises an unforgettable runner's journey through breathtaking landscapes. The event kicks off on Friday, July 24, 2026, with packet pickup and registration from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Start/Finish line. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, registration opens early at 6:30 AM. Race day commences promptly at 7:45 AM with a meeting for all participants before the race start at 8:00 AM sharp. The course will be well-marked to ensure safety and ease of navigation. Two fully stocked aid stations are strategically placed along the route, one at Mile 10 (with a cutoff time of 10:30 AM) and another at Mile 20 by noon. Post-race festivities include a meal from Hi-Wire Brewing starting at 10:30 AM, providing runners with much-needed sustenance. The awards ceremony will follow shortly after, celebrating the top three performers in each category. Participants can expect chip timing for accurate results and peace of mind during their run. A police escort and EMTs are on standby throughout to ensure your safety. However, please note that no transfers or deferrals are permitted under any circumstances; if you're unable to attend due to unforeseen events, refunds will be available until March 31, 2026 (75% of the entry fee) and May 31, 2026 (50% of the entry fee).
