Jo off de Roo't Gravelrit

On October 18, 2026, the sixth edition of the Jo off de Roo Gravel Ride will take place. Cyclists can choose between two routes, offering either 65 or 90 kilometers of scenic cycling through South Beveland.
The event features a mix of challenging terrain and picturesque paths with minimal technical difficulties. The route is designed around "het Schenge," a charming area known for its unique landscape. Participants will enjoy the ride along characteristic dikes and lanes, following in the footsteps of former professional cyclist Jo de Roo, who won several classics during his career.
The routes are fully marked with NTFU arrows but also available as GPX files to download before the event. Cyclists can pick up a free cup of coffee at Café de Oranjeboom just before they set off on their journey. The halfway point includes a rest stop and resupply station located at Camping Zwaakseweel, ensuring riders have everything they need for the remainder of the ride.
Both the start and finish lines are conveniently situated at Café de Oranjeboom in s'-Heer Hendrikskinderen, allowing participants to easily meet up with friends or family after completing their route. The event is known for its friendly atmosphere and includes a secure bicycle parking area to keep riders' bikes safe throughout.
Registration fees vary depending on whether you are an NTFU member (€4) or not (€6), while day-of registration costs €8 per person. Youth under 17 years old can participate free of charge, encouraging the next generation of cyclists to enjoy this beautiful route.
For those interested in a more relaxed experience, there is also a 10-kilometer walking trail available around "het Schenge."
