Spring into action at the 7th Annual Jump Off Rock Half Marathon and its companion events, the 10K and inaugural 5K. Presented by Hunter Subaru and UNC Health Pardee, this race promises to be an unforgettable journey through Hendersonville’s scenic landscapes. The half marathon kicks off from the iconic Jump Off Rock in Laurel Park, offering runners breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains adorned with vibrant spring foliage. The course is USATF-certified and features a gentle downhill descent into downtown Hendersonville, known for its picturesque charm and fast times. This route has earned acclaim as one of the most scenic half marathons in the Southeast. Both the 5K and 10K races begin at the Hendersonville Family YMCA before diverging to their unique routes. The 5K follows a portion of the 10K course, then winds through picturesque neighborhoods back towards downtown. Meanwhile, the 10K joins the half marathon route around Lake Osceola, where all three events converge near the finish line on historic Main Street in Hendersonville. Runners will be greeted with lively post-race festivities and a warm welcome from the community at large. The event is sanctioned by USATF (Sanction #142687) and features certified courses for each distance, ensuring accuracy and fairness for all participants.
