Junior Proms Dash 3K Winter Series 2026-27
All proceeds from the Junior Proms Dash 3K Winter Series will benefit Abernecessities, an organization dedicated to supporting local communities. The series is promoted under SAL rules and features a course measured by Jones Counter.
The event takes place on select Fridays throughout the winter season, starting October 26 and concluding March 27 at The Beach Esplanade in Aberdeen. Races begin promptly at 1:00 PM each Friday listed below:

- November 13, 2026
- December 11, 2026
- January 15, 2027
- February 12, 2027
- March 19, 2027
The race is open to participants aged nine and older from Primary 5 onwards. Each entry costs £2 per race, with pre-registration required for all events; there will be no on-site sign-ups.
Participants are encouraged to keep the same number throughout the series but must collect their numbers at each event day registration point located 150 meters north of Beach Leisure Centre along the promenade. Please report to the designated area upon arrival to confirm your participation and receive your race bib.
The overall series standings will be determined by accumulated times across three races, with prizes awarded in various categories. All skill levels are welcome; whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event offers an inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy.
For those who have pre-registered but cannot participate and wish to transfer their entry to another person, please contact the race director via email at john.stewart18@sky.com with full details of the substitute participant.
