Kanuga Triathlon

The Kanuga Triathlon returns to Hendersonville, North Carolina on August 9th, 2026. This inaugural event is designed for athletes of all levels, offering a unique sprint-distance triathlon experience in the heart of Western North Carolina.
Kanuga Lake serves as the start point for swimmers, setting them off into open water. Cyclists will navigate mixed-surface terrain on a fast and varied 25km route, providing both challenge and scenic views. Runners complete their legs on a hard and dry surface, making for a quick and efficient finish.
The Kanuga Triathlon has been running for the first time this year, with support from local charities to benefit community causes.
