Kusam Klimb

The Kusam Klimb offers an exhilarating challenge for endurance runners, featuring a 25 km loop that ascends the rugged backside of Mt. H’Kusam and descends through the Stowe Creek watershed. This annual event is known for its demanding terrain and stunning mountain vistas, attracting participants from around the globe who seek to conquer this formidable route.
New in 2023, runners can also take on a shorter version called the Mini-Klimb, which reaches up to Checkpoint 1 at an elevation of 390 meters. This option is ideal for younger athletes and those looking to experience part of the challenge before tackling the full Kusam Klimb.
Participants will have exclusive access to Bill’s Trail during this event, a renowned route celebrated for its natural beauty and technical challenges. The race takes place near the summer solstice on June 19, 2027, offering optimal conditions with long daylight hours and warm weather.
The Kusam Klimb is not just about reaching the finish line; it’s an experience that immerses runners in a pristine wilderness setting while pushing their physical limits. The race starts at 7:00 am with the main Kusam Klimb and follows at 8:00 am with the Mini-Klimb, ensuring that all participants have ample time under the summer sun to navigate the challenging terrain and enjoy the unique atmosphere.
