La cani givrée

Get ready to share an unforgettable moment of sporting camaraderie with your faithful companion at La Cani Givrée, returning for its second edition on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in St Ciers d'Abzac. Organized by Fight & Forme boxing club and AnimAssistance, this event promises a day dedicated to canine sports under the serene shade of trees, ensuring the well-being of both you and your pet.
A variety of timed events will be held throughout the day: Cani-Trottinette from 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM, featuring individual departures every minute with space for up to fifteen participants; Cani-VTT from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM, where pairs start off at one-minute intervals and can include sixty competitors in total; and the main event, Cani-Cross, running from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM with departures by duos every minute for up to a hundred and twenty participants.
To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, certain conditions must be met. Participants aged sixteen or older are required, while dogs need to be at least eighteen months old (except in category one). Essential equipment includes an X-back harness, extendable leash with maximum lengths of two meters for Cani-Cross and 2.50 meters for VTT/trottinette, a wide belt or waistband for the runner, as well as helmets and gloves for those participating in VTT/trottinette events.
Vaccinations must be up to date for all dogs against rabies, parvovirus, kennel cough, leptospirosis, and canine distemper. With limited spots available to maintain safety and smooth departures, it's important not to wait too long before securing your entry.
