RANDONNÉE DU LAC DES VERGNES

Experience the beauty of nature and challenge yourself with a variety of events at Laruscade, near Blaye on the Gironde Estuary. This annual gathering offers runners and cyclists an array of routes through lush forests and along serene lake shores.
Choose from three running distances: 8 km, 12 km, or 16 km, each winding through protected natural landscapes that highlight local flora and fauna. For those who prefer cycling, there are options for a leisurely ride at 20 km, an intermediate route of 35 km, or the more demanding 50 km trek.
The event welcomes all levels of participants, from casual hikers to seasoned trail runners and canirandonneurs (trail running with dogs). Families are encouraged to join in on the fun, ensuring a lively atmosphere for everyone involved.
Refreshment stations will be available throughout each route, catering not only to adults but also providing snacks specifically designed for younger participants. After your run or ride, enjoy delicious food from local vendors set up at the event site.
Registration is now open through Hello Asso and on-site; early bird rates are 7€ for cyclists and 6€ for runners via online registration. Day-of-event prices increase to 8€ for cyclists and 7€ for runners.
