Immerse yourself in the heart of wine country at the Estezargues Vineyard Run, an annual race that celebrates the rich heritage and picturesque landscapes of this charming village. The route traces a scenic 9-kilometer loop around Estezargues, ascending a total elevation gain of 170 meters as it winds through vineyards and past historic buildings.
Participants will start their journey from the local cave cooperative at 9:00 AM, where they can also collect their race packets starting at 7:00 AM on the morning of the event. The course offers runners a unique blend of flat stretches along winding roads and challenging ascents through vineyard rows, providing stunning views of rolling hills dotted with grapevines.
The atmosphere is filled with local charm as residents line the streets to cheer on competitors. As you run, you'll experience firsthand why Estezargues is renowned for its wine production and picturesque setting. The race concludes back at the cave cooperative where participants can enjoy post-race festivities and a taste of some of the region's finest wines.
