La Ramade VTT, nestled within the picturesque Pyrénées Catalanes, is an iconic cycling journey that celebrates the joy of riding without the pressure of racing. Known for its slogan "No timing, just bikes and great pit stops," this event offers a diverse range of routes from 10 to 55 kilometers, each promising breathtaking views and richly stocked refreshment points featuring local charcuterie, cheeses, organic products, and surprise treats. Organized in partnership with the Font-Romeu Cyclisme club under a community agreement, La Ramade VTT supports youth cycling development by funding an athletic trainer position at Pierre de Coubertin High School. This year's event features four distinct loops that can be combined or customized based on participants' preferences and energy levels. The Family Loop (9.5 km) offers a gentle descent towards Font-Romeu, perfect for families looking to enjoy the outdoors together with minimal elevation gain. The Sportive Loop (20 km), ideal for casual VTT enthusiasts, balances technical challenges with scenic routes through varied terrain. With no strict start times but rather flexible departure windows until 10:00 AM for some routes, riders have ample opportunity to customize their adventure.
