LA RAYMOND MARTIN

La Raymond Martin 2026, named after the legendary climber and Normandy native Raymond Martin who was part of the Tour de France's best climbers in 1980, is an annual cycling event organized by the AOCC Wissous club based in Essonne. The ninth edition will take place on September 13, 2026, continuing a tradition that has spanned eight successful years.
The race offers two routes: a challenging 150-kilometer course and a slightly more manageable 95-kilometer option. Both routes wind through the picturesque landscapes of southern Essonne, Seine-et-Marne, and parts of Loiret, showcasing the rolling hills and lush farmlands characteristic of these regions.
Participants will traverse the bucolic villages nestled in the heart of rural France, passing through the Parc Régional du Gâtinais Français with its diverse terrain before heading into Beauce. The latter half of both routes features a series of challenging ascents typical of southern Essonne's undulating landscape.
The event is known for its welcoming atmosphere and supportive volunteer team who ensure that every rider feels at home from start to finish.
