Largo Law Hill Race

The Largo Law Hill Race returns after a hiatus since 2019, offering runners the chance to tackle this challenging out-and-back course once again. The route spans approximately 10 kilometers and features over 300 meters of elevation gain, making it an exhilarating test for both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic amateurs.
Organized by Anster Haddies under Scottish Athletics rules, the race promises a competitive yet friendly atmosphere. Participants will gather at the Crusoe Hotel in Lower Largo to collect their numbers between 9:30 am and 10:30 am on November 14, 2026. Registration is also possible up until 10:30 am if spaces remain available.
The race begins promptly at 11 am from a starting point around half a mile away from the registration area, accessible via Harbour Wynd and crossing A915 to reach the start line marked by What3words:///flasks.youthful.chairing. Given the terrain's demands, appropriate footwear such as trail shoes is highly recommended.
Competitors should be prepared for an event that does not offer changing facilities at the hotel or along the route; however, toilet facilities will be available in the Crusoe Hotel before and after the race begins. Parking options are limited near the start area, with participants encouraged to park at either Old Station Car Park (Station Park, Lower Largo) or Lower Largo Car Park on Main Street.
The event does not provide medals for finishers but recognizes top performers through prize categories: first, second, and third place male and female overall. Entry fees are £8 for unattached participants and £5 for Scottish Athletics members; the same applies to day-of registration if available.
