Le 20 des Collines - Rural Trail - 2ème édition

Join us on Sunday, October 18, 2026 for the second edition of 'The 20 Hills Rural Trail' – an authentic and simple race that invites you to explore the rolling hills and picturesque vineyards around Bourdic. This event features three trail races (20km, 12km, and 8km) along with a leisurely 8km walk through the countryside.
Set against the backdrop of lush greenery and charming villages, 'The 20 Hills Rural Trail' offers an immersive experience that blends challenging terrain with breathtaking views. The centerpiece is the 20-kilometer race, which winds its way between the Bourdic plain and the heights of Massargues woods. This route combines winding country paths with rugged monotracks in dense forests, offering a mix of elevation gain and scenic surprises.
The 12km course follows a more relaxed path through vineyards and quaint villages, providing runners with unique viewpoints and unexpected detours along the way. Meanwhile, the shorter 8km race remains primarily within Bourdic's borders, allowing participants to enjoy flat terrain at a brisk pace. For those who prefer a leisurely stroll, the wine-themed walk offers an engaging journey through historic railway paths and peaceful countryside routes.
All races are punctuated by lively aid stations where runners can indulge in local delicacies while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow athletes. Following the race, everyone is invited to celebrate at the traditional Festival Primeur event under a festive tent. Here, you'll find live music, food trucks serving regional specialties and wine from the vineyards, as well as a bustling market with artisanal products.
This year's edition also carries special significance, aligning with Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Octobre Rose). A portion of race proceeds will be donated to support women affected by breast cancer through their physical and emotional recovery journey. During registration, participants are encouraged to make an additional donation towards this cause that is close to our hearts.

Participants start from the front stage of Cave des Collines du Bourdic in Bourdic (30190), with staggered starts at 9:30 AM for the 20km race, 10:00 AM for the 12km course, and 10:15 AM for both the 8km run and walk.
