Hushfest - Day 1 Enduro

Info: This event is now full so no new entries can be made. 2 days of good times on bikes! Day 1 is a grassroots/mashup style enduro , 3 or 4 stages, every run counts. Just good fun simple enduro racing. All stages starting from the same area, we’ll have some tunes on and a bit of a buzz. After the racing is finished we’ll have some trick comps and games in the camping/race village area Day 2 is DH . It’s essentially a grassroots style DH race. No uplifts, ride whatever bike you want - E-bike, enduro bike or DH, get your mate to tow you up with his e-bike on your DH bike, anything goes. All bikes are in the same category, (age and gender categories still in place) the track will be a gravity focused downhill style so e bikes won’t be an advantage on the way down Timed the same as an enduro race and every run counts so less pressure than a DH race but still 1 final seeded run at the end of the day based on current standings at 2:30pm so you still get the buzz of fastest riders last down the hill at the end. All the trails not being used for the event will be open to non racers for the weekend, if you’re riding bikes on the August Bank holiday, come and have a look at the action and get in a few laps!! Only racing 1 day? stay the night and get more laps in!! We have a big field secured at the bottom of the hill with direct access on to the hill, we will have parking and weekend camping here for racers (camping will be available from Friday evening), spectators and casual riders and a race village set up with vendors, Demos, E-bike charging station, fun MTB games and Rigs of Hushfest (got a cool rig? Bring it for the chance to win a few prizes). The minimum age is 12. Competitors aged under 14 must always be accompanied by a guardian on the competition course. The competitor must have valid Cycling Ireland (C.I.) licence , there are no "one day licences for under 18's anymore" .  The guardian must be present at registration to sign the guardian consent form. All competitors under the age of 14 must have a guardian consent form, which must be signed by both the competitor and the guardian, in person at registration. In accordance with the Cycling Ireland Off-Road Commission, 2026, ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR FULL FACE HELMETS AT ALL TIMES AT ALL ENDURO RACES. These helmets can either be the integral full face type, or those with a removable chin guard. The chin guards may be removed during transitions, but every rider must wear a helmet, properly secured on their heads, whenever they are cycling on their bike. All JUNIOR riders (Under 18) must wear mountain biking spinal protection and gloves as per Cycling Ireland rules . Entering an under-18 rider The parent/guardian needs to register and be logged in as themselves .  When making the entry either select the under-18 from the Person to Enter drop-down box if you have previously made an entry for then, otherwise select ' Somebody already registered with SiEntries ' or ' Somebody not registered with SiEntries ' as applicable.
