Leominster 5K & 10K August 2026

On Monday, August 31st, join runners from across the region for Leominster's Summer Bank Holiday Road Race, an exciting chip-timed event set against the serene backdrop of quiet country lanes. Choose between two scenic courses: a fast and flat 5K out-and-back route or a more challenging 10K course that incorporates all of the initial 5K stretch before adding gentle hills.
Race day will begin at Halo Leisure on Bridge Street, HR6 8EA, with the first runners taking off at 8:45 AM for the shorter distance and then again at 9:15 AM for those tackling the longer route. Entry fees range from £14 to £19 depending on affiliation status; note that participants must be a minimum of 11 years old for the 5K race and 15 for the 10K event.
All entrants are required to register in advance as no-day-of-event sign-ups will not be accepted. The event has a limit of 300 runners, so early registration is encouraged. Parking at Bridge Street Sports Centre is available but limited and subject to charges; nearby public car parks offer alternatives for those who prefer off-site parking.
On race day, participants can expect full medical cover with first aid stations on hand throughout the course. Water will be provided post-race for 5K runners while a water station along the more extensive 10K route is available twice during the run to help keep everyone hydrated and energized.
Every finisher receives a medal as recognition of their achievement, adding an extra layer of excitement to both events. In addition, male and female prizes will be awarded for first through third place in each race category.

Any unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather conditions may necessitate race cancellation or rescheduling, but refunds and exchanges won't be issued post-purchase unless otherwise specified.
