Experience the vibrant Bandafolie's festival from July 10 to 14, 2026. Join us for an individual race of 8 kilometers through the picturesque village of Bessines-sur-Gartempe and its surrounding natural landscapes. The route winds through lush valleys, past arboretums, and along the banks of the Ri-maury River before reaching the Gartempe Valley.
Three exciting formats await runners:
- An individual race covering 8 kilometers
- A duo race where partners run together for the full 8 kilometers
- A relay format with two teams running a total of 2x4 kilometers, featuring a unique handover point on the course
The event kicks off at 17:30 from the Chataigniers Stadium. Dossards can be picked up between 15:00 and 17:00.
Dress in your finest costume as part of our themed parade, with special prizes for the most creative outfits. Your name will be printed on all dossards, ensuring easy identification during the race. On-site showers are available after you cross the finish line.
Post-race festivities include a food truck village and refreshment stands. Enjoy performances by some of Bandafolie's best bands at the Chataigniers Stadium from 19:00 onwards—free entry for all participants!
Ô Village, the festive and gourmet village from Couzeix, will be present with its array of food trucks, offering a variety of dishes to satisfy your taste buds. At 22:00, get ready for an electrifying concert by Flagrants Délires—a group known for their energetic performances and crowd interaction. The night concludes at midnight under the CD87 bodega's roof with DJ Ylan spinning tunes that will keep you dancing into the early hours.
