LES FOULÉES DE BRASPARTS

On August 8, 2026, the Brasparts Trail Race will celebrate its 39th edition as part of the Armorik Trail Challenge. This event features two challenging courses: an 11km route and a longer 21km option, both winding through diverse terrain in northwestern France.
The shorter course begins at 4:30 PM, while runners tackling the more demanding distance set off just fifteen minutes later at 4:45 PM. Participants must be mindful of the time limit for the long race; a three-hour cutoff ensures that all competitors finish by 7:45 PM on the same day.
The starting point is in Saint Rivoal, near the iconic Mont Saint Michel, though runners will not actually traverse this famous landmark during their journey. Instead, they'll navigate through varied landscapes characterized by muddy trails, rocky paths, and soft terrain that offer a true test of endurance and agility.
To accommodate participants' needs, two dry toilets are available close to the start line. The race courses stay off-road for most of their lengths, with only brief interruptions at road crossings near the finish line. This course layout ensures runners experience the authentic rural setting while minimizing traffic disruptions along the way.
Race numbers can be picked up from 2:30 PM onwards in Brasparts' multifunctional hall. The event offers prizes to the top three overall male and female competitors, as well as category winners. Additionally, a festive atmosphere awaits those who wish to extend their experience beyond racing through an organized dinner following the race.
For runners looking to enjoy post-race camaraderie over food, tickets for this meal can be purchased at €14 each on-site or reserved during registration via KligeGO. The menu includes tomato salad, vegetable medley with ham hock and ratatouille served atop fluffy potatoes, complemented by a classic Breton kouign amann.
