Les Foulées Stéphanoises

The Foulées Stéphanoises, now celebrating its 35th edition, offers runners two distances to choose from: a single loop of 5 kilometers or the option to tackle it twice for a total of 10 kilometers. The course primarily consists of small roads with sections of trails that weave through scenic landscapes.
Participants aged 2010 and earlier are eligible for the 10-kilometer race, making it suitable from cadets up to masters categories. For the shorter distance, runners born in or before 2012 can compete, covering all age groups from minimes upwards. In line with current regulations, only those classified as minimes may participate exclusively in this event.
Race day activities begin at 3:00 PM when bib collection opens on-site at the municipal stadium. The children's races kick off earlier in the afternoon starting at 3:30 PM for younger participants (7 to 11 years old) covering a distance of 1 kilometer and 250 meters, followed by older kids aged 12 to 13 running 2 kilometers and 200 meters.
Competitors across both distances will start their races at precisely 6:00 PM. As always, all finishers receive recognition for their efforts. The top three male and female runners in each race are awarded a trophy or cup, adding an extra layer of prestige to the event.
The festivities continue well into the evening with prize-giving ceremonies starting around 7:30 PM featuring a raffle draw (presence required) followed by a delightful rustic dinner under the stars. Early bird pricing for online registration is available until August 1st at 7:30 PM, costing €5 per kilometer up to a maximum of €10. On-the-day entries are also possible but will incur an additional fee.
This event promises not only competitive racing opportunities but also a welcoming atmosphere for families and athletes alike, making it a must-attend race in the region’s calendar.
