Les Rondes Charolaises

On September 6, 2026, the "Les Rondes Charolaises" trail running festival returns to Charols, nestled within the scenic Drôme Provençale region just east of Montélimar. The CSL club has meticulously planned this event, offering runners a variety of courses that cater to all levels and interests.
The centerpiece is the challenging 26-kilometer route known as "Les Sentiers de la Fontaine Minérale," which features an impressive elevation gain of 1000 meters. This trail winds through picturesque landscapes, taking participants on a journey filled with diverse terrain and breathtaking views. The race starts at 8:30 AM from the village center.
For those seeking a more moderate challenge, the "Trail de Ste Euphémie" offers a scenic 15-kilometer course with an elevation gain of 490 meters. This trail is set to start just half an hour after the longer route at 9:00 AM and promises stunning vistas as it weaves through the rolling hills.
Participants looking for a shorter but still rewarding experience can opt for the "Course Nature," a 10-kilometer run with less than 150 meters of elevation gain. This course starts at 10:00 AM, providing runners with an opportunity to explore some of Charols' most charming trails.
The event also features a special one-kilometer race for children around the local stadium, kicking off promptly at 10:10 AM and adding a joyful atmosphere to the day.
All races commence from the heart of Charols, where runners will find themselves immersed in a vibrant community spirit as they make their way through various courses. The event concludes with podium presentations around noon.
As part of its commitment to giving back, every registration fee includes a €1 donation to the Montélimar Resource Center.
