About the Event

The Cross Duathlon of Cruas is part of the winter circuit organized by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Ligue of Triathlon, offering athletes an opportunity to compete and qualify for the season-ending finale. This particular edition features a unique blend of running and cycling disciplines that cater to various age groups and skill levels.
The event includes four distinct race categories designed specifically for different demographics:
- A specially adapted format for children aged 6–9 years.
- An intermediate category for young athletes between 10–11 years old.
- The XS-Benjamins/Minimes division, which is also open to Open competition participants.
- And the S-Cadets/Juniors/Adults race, similarly welcoming those in an Open event format.
Organized by Cruas Triathlon and supported by both the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Ligue of Triathlon and the Drôme-Ardèche Triathlon Committee, this duathlon serves as a qualifier for the Ardèche Cross Duathlon Championship. Winners will be awarded titles based on their respective age categories.
The race aims to provide an accessible yet competitive winter event that encourages young athletes to explore combined disciplines while offering seasoned competitors a structured and engaging competition environment. Participants can look forward to a friendly atmosphere, scenic routes through Cruas, and the chance to test their skills against fellow enthusiasts from across different regions of France.
This edition promises to be a highlight for both newcomers discovering duathlon racing and experienced athletes seeking winter challenge and camaraderie.
