Starting at the Hakka Culture Park, Liancheng County, Longyan, Fujian, this trail race runs November 8 with a 3,000-runner cap across 52K Elite, 37K Challenge, 23K Open, and 10K Experience categories. Registration is first-come, first-served, with early-bird pricing through August 20. The 52K (2,103m gain, ITRA 2 points, capped at 500) has a 13-hour cutoff; the 37K (1,347m gain, ITRA 2 points, capped at 700) has a 10-hour cutoff; the 23K (837m gain, ITRA 1 point, capped at 900) has a 7-hour cutoff; the 10K (326m gain, capped at 900) has a 4-hour cutoff. Liancheng County, in western Fujian, is rich in history and culture; Guanzhi Mountain's danxia landform is known for its dramatic, jagged peaks. The course passes Guanzhi Mountain, Zhu'an Stockade, and Jiulong Lake, through narrow valleys and along cliff faces with sweeping lake and mountain views. The debut edition drew nearly 3,000 runners.
