About the Event

One of Guangxi's marquee trail races, this event starts and finishes at the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot in the Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area, Longsheng, Guilin, running September 26-27 with "Skypiercer" 100K, "Cloudsoar" 50K, "Chasing Light" 30K, "Dragon Seeker" 15K, family-friendly "Little Dragon" 6K, and two-day Master (50K+30K) and Challenge (50K+15K) combos. Registration opens May 13 at 10:00, with early-bird pricing through August 31.
The 100K (95.3km actual, 6,000m gain/loss, ITRA ~5 points) starts Sept 26 6:00 with a 30-hour cutoff; the 50K (51.9km, 3,217m gain/loss, ITRA ~2 points) starts 6:00 with a 15-hour cutoff; the 30K (30.9km, 1,640m gain/loss, ITRA ~1 point) starts Sept 27 7:00 with a 9-hour cutoff; the 15K (15.2km, 718m gain/loss) starts 7:00 with a 4-hour cutoff.
The course winds through the Longji Rice Terraces National Wetland Park, past Jinfo Peak, the thousand-tier sky ladder, the Seven Stars & Moon viewpoint, the Nine Dragons & Five Tigers ridge, and the ancient Zhuang villages of Ping'an and Xiaozhai -- terrace scenery, autumn color, and rice-harvest air the whole way.
