Lou Tour de la Gauda

Are you ready for an exhilarating blend of sport and celebration at the heart of La Gaude? The Lou Tour de la Gauda invites runners to tackle 8.5 kilometers with 300 meters of elevation gain, winding through picturesque streets, trails, and paths that showcase the village's charm.
The course is challenging yet accessible, featuring steep climbs, scenic descents, and breathtaking views, offering an unforgettable running experience for both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic amateurs alike in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
For younger participants, Lou Pitchoun offers races tailored to children aged 4 to 15 years old starting at 6 PM. The event features three distances:
- A 200-meter dash for the youngest runners
- A 1-kilometer race for slightly older kids
- A more challenging 1.5 kilometers for aspiring champions
All races take place in a secure and festive setting within the lively center of La Gaude, ensuring safety while providing an exciting environment for young athletes to enjoy their first competitive run.
To reward each child's efforts, every registered competitor will receive a free crepe at the finish line.
The Lou Tour de la Gauda is renowned for its unique atmosphere fueled by enthusiastic residents and supporters cheering along the route, serving as a powerful motivation throughout the race. Upon crossing the finish line, adult participants are greeted with:
- A sandwich
- Choice of soda or beer
In addition to these refreshments, the Festival Committee will provide various treats such as sandwiches, sodas, beer, and delicious crepes from Petite Fleur de Lys Association, catering to both athletes' needs and those looking for a taste treat.
The festivities continue well into the evening. From 9 PM onwards, enjoy live music with an outdoor DJ set until midnight under the stars. Capture memories of your race through an on-site photo booth, perfect for sharing moments with friends or family.
