MAÑARITIK ATXETARA 2026

Set for September 19, 2026, the third edition of 'Mañaritik Atxetara' promises an exhilarating journey through the stunning Parque Natural de Urkiola. Building on the success of its first two years, this year's event introduces a new twist with the addition of a challenging 13K route featuring 1100 meters of elevation gain. The mountain hike has also been refreshed, taking participants to the Gatzaieta-Atxarte-Urkiolamendi area via an invigorating 19km course that includes 1150 meters of ascent.
For those seeking a more ambitious challenge, the established routes remain unchanged: the grueling 43K race with its impressive 3900m elevation gain and the steep climb up Untzillaitz Zuzen. The popular 22K route also retains its original profile, offering runners another 2000 meters of climbing.
This year's event is part of the Durangaldeko Kopa series, making it a significant point in both the main and junior categories. Participants in the 22K race will earn points towards the primary competition, while those tackling the new 13K route can contribute to the smaller cup.
