Manuden 10k, 5k and 1k

On September 27, 2026, the picturesque village of Manuden will host its annual run, offering three distinct races for participants to choose from: a family-friendly 1k race starting at 10:45 AM, followed by a scenic 5k race beginning at 11:25 AM, and concluding with an exhilarating 10k course that kicks off at 11:15 AM. The event promises to be an engaging day for runners of all ages and abilities.
The races will traverse the lush fields surrounding Manuden, providing a unique blend of rural charm and challenging terrain. Participants can expect picturesque views as they navigate through open landscapes dotted with rolling hills and quaint countryside paths. Water stations will be strategically placed along each route to ensure hydration throughout the race, while refreshments will be available at the finish line.
Registration for all races takes place near the start/finish area in the field adjacent to the Yew Tree pub. Here, runners can also access changing facilities and toilets before heading out onto the course. The organizers recommend car parking near the starting point to ensure easy access on race day; the postcode CM23 1DY will help guide participants to this location.
First aid training associates will be present throughout the event to offer assistance if needed. All races adhere to Association of Running Clubs (ARC) rules, and while digital timing is provided at both start and finish lines, runners are responsible for their own race times during the course.
The 10k run requires participants to be at least 15 years old by September 27, 2026. For the 5k distance, entrants must either be 13 or older on that date and able to participate unaccompanied, or accompanied by an adult if they are between 8 and 13 years of age.
In case of race cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizers' control, entry fees will not be refunded; however, all profits from the event will go towards supporting Manuden Running Club’s chosen charity. Participants must consent to their personal data being processed according to the club's privacy policy and applicable laws.
