Marathon Trail Pays de Brive

Embark on the inaugural edition of the Pays de Brive Marathon Trail, an extraordinary running experience nestled within the picturesque landscapes of Corrèze. This trail boasts 43 kilometers of scenic routes and thrilling discoveries, winding through charming villages and natural paths.
The race commences in Collonges-la-Rouge, a historic town with rich cultural heritage. After traversing 12 kilometers, you'll reach the first checkpoint at Turenne, known for its medieval fortifications and stunning views. The next leg takes runners to Jugeals Nazareth via a challenging yet rewarding journey of 9.5 kilometers with 295 meters of elevation gain.
From there, continue on to Cosnac, where you'll cover another 12 kilometers before the final push towards Brive-la-Gaillarde's Stadium. The last stretch of 9.5 kilometers includes a total ascent of 175 meters, leading up to the exhilarating finish line in the vibrant atmosphere of the stadium.
Choose your format for this adventure: run solo over the full 42-kilometer course, or join forces with teammates as part of either a two-person or four-person relay team. Each participant will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unique charm and breathtaking scenery that defines this territory.
For those opting for the solo category, a dedicated shuttle service is available from 7:15 AM at the Stadium, ensuring you start your journey with ease. Post-race festivities include Le Repas du Gaillard, featuring an array of local delicacies such as country terrine paired with caramelized onions and veal paupiettes in truffle sauce, all served alongside traditional apple tarts.
