About the Event
Join us for an exciting bike skills session at Marulan Public School, designed to enhance your child's confidence and safety on two wheels. The program will take place on Saturday, July 16th, 2026, offering both beginner and advanced sessions tailored to different skill levels. Beginner Session (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM) This session is perfect for young riders who can already pedal but are looking to build their confidence. Participants will focus on essential skills such as riding in a straight line, maintaining balance while standing up on the bike, and navigating small obstacles without putting down a foot. Advanced Session (12:30 PM - 2:00 PM) Designed for more experienced riders who wish to refine their technique and master advanced maneuvers. Key areas of focus include one-handed riding over short distances, maneuvering through various terrain challenges, and improving overall control on the bike. Both sessions will be held in a supportive environment that ensures every child can progress at their own pace. Our expert coaches are dedicated to guiding participants to achieve their goals and enjoy the joy of cycling safely. What You Need - A well-maintained bicycle - A helmet for safety - Water bottle for hydration - Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities - Closed-toe shoes Location Details Meet at either the Oval or Basketball Court. Access is via the front school gates. Please arrive on time and ensure your child has all necessary equipment. Important Notes The sessions will proceed in light rain, but we may cancel due to severe weather conditions. You'll be notified if this happens. Marulan is a town of 1,200 people (2016) in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Squeezed between the Shoalhaven Gorge to the south, and the ranges to the north, just about every trip from Sydney heading south-west towards Melbourne or Canberra must pass through Marulan. Even those taking the scenic country roads, must join the freeway for the short Marulan section.
