In memory of Hannah Corne, this poignant trail race celebrates her life and supports St Gemma’s Hospice, which cared for her with compassion. Set against the backdrop of Adel Woods, Scotland Woods, and Meanwood Park near Leeds, runners will traverse approximately 7 miles of varied terrain that winds through lush woodlands and scenic parkland. The route is peppered with iconic landmarks such as one of the famed "Seven Arches," a playful nod to the whimsical 'Slabbering Baby' sculpture, and an eerie passage under the Leeds Outer Ring Road. Participants will start and finish at Old Leo's Rugby Club, where they can look forward to crossing the line in front of cheering spectators. Prizes are awarded to both male and female runners who claim first place overall as well as for age categories: 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+ and 75+. These awards will be based on chip timing, ensuring fair recognition of every runner's efforts. Entry fees are £21 for affiliated members (registration must cover the 2026/27 season) and £23 for unaffiliated runners. The deadline to enter online is Saturday, August 22nd at 11:00 AM; however, entries on race day will also be accepted. This event promises a memorable experience that combines scenic beauty with meaningful purpose, making it an ideal run for both charity and enjoyment.

Leeds is the largest city in the county of West Yorkshire and the third largest city in Britain, though its urban area size falls behind that of Manchester.
