Mediterránea Triatlón is an exciting triathlon circuit that draws over 4,000 athletes annually across three vibrant cities along the Mediterranean coast: Alicante, València, and Castellón. Each venue offers a unique backdrop for this endurance event, with dates spread throughout spring to early summer. In May, the race kicks off in Alicante, where participants face a challenging yet rewarding course that showcases the city's stunning coastline and historic landmarks. As temperatures begin to warm up, June brings the València leg of the circuit, offering athletes an opportunity to compete through picturesque landscapes dotted with orange groves and medieval architecture. The season concludes in July at Castellón, where competitors tackle a scenic route that winds along beaches and past charming coastal towns. Each event features rigorous swims, bike rides, and runs designed for both seasoned triathletes and newcomers looking to test their limits. In addition to the main events, Mediterránea Triatlón also hosts València Duathlon by MTRI in February. This supersprint competition challenges athletes with a compact yet intense race through València's vibrant streets, providing an early-season warm-up for those gearing up for the full triathlon series later in the year. Regardless of the race, Mediterranea Triatlón provides participants with a unique experience and unforgettable scenery. From spring season to summer, participants can enjoy a rich and colorful competition schedule in the cities along the Mediterranean coast in Spain. With its varied terrain, cultural richness, and beautiful coastal scenery, Mediterránea Triatlón offers an unforgettable experience for triathlon enthusiasts of all levels.
