Thanksgiving Day brings an annual tradition to Memphis with the Shelby Farms Park Turkey Trot on November 26, 2026, starting at dawn. This beloved race invites participants of all ages to walk or run through picturesque trails within the expansive Shelby Farms Park.
Expect a scenic course that weaves its way through the park's natural beauty, offering runners and walkers alike a memorable experience amidst fall foliage and serene landscapes. The event features both a 4-mile individual race and a thrilling 2-mile relay option for teams to enjoy together.
Registration includes a long-sleeve shirt, ensuring comfort throughout your run or walk. Post-race festivities include complimentary coffee from Biggby Coffee and fresh fruit before the Thanksgiving feast, adding to the festive ambiance of the day. Finisher medals await the first 2,500 participants who cross the finish line.
This year marks a second consecutive partnership between Start 2 Finish and the Memphis Turkey Trot in benefiting the Campbell Clinic Foundation.
