Join the Mohawk Hudson Cycling Club for an exhilarating adventure through Columbia County's picturesque gravel roads. The stunning fall foliage will paint a breathtaking backdrop as you cruise along these rolling terrains. MHCC members and cycling enthusiasts alike have discovered the magic of this route, returning year after year to explore its diverse landscapes. The event offers four distinct routes tailored to various skill levels: 56 miles, 41 miles, 30 miles on gravel, and a 30-mile road ride for those who prefer smoother surfaces. Each starts with a controlled neutral start over the first mile, ensuring safety and camaraderie among riders. Onsite at S&S Farm Brewery from November 1 at 8:00 AM, check-in begins early to allow ample time for last-minute preparations. The brewery will also serve as your finish line, where you can unwind with a craft beer after completing the challenge or enjoy some delicious food options from Gourmeli's Taste food truck. Safety is paramount; all participants must wear helmets and adhere to cycling rules of the road. Mechanical support will be available courtesy of Karl Miller’s Blueline Spokes & Gears, ensuring your ride remains smooth and enjoyable. After your adventure, savor local flavors at S&S Farm Brewery from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or donate directly online to support the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY. Your contributions will help this non-profit organization feed those in need throughout northeastern New York, distributing over 55 million pounds of food annually. Don't forget to bring cash or a card for additional purchases and to make your donation on-site.
