Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day by joining our annual run through the heart of our community. This special day honors Dr. King's unwavering commitment to justice, equality, and peace. Lace up your shoes and join us as we reflect on his powerful message of love and resilience. This event is not just about fitness; it’s a celebration of unity and a call to action for social change. We welcome runners of all paces and ages (under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian) – run or walk at your own pace! The atmosphere will be warm, stress-free, and supportive. The event is structured into waves with limited spots per wave, ensuring a personalized experience. Sign-ups fill up quickly; once a wave sells out, you can choose the virtual option or join our waitlist. Our coordinators are on hand to provide encouragement and support throughout your run. Timing is optional—track your time using apps like Strava, RunKeeper, or Nike Run Club, then submit it via an easy form for online posting. We do not use timing chips; this ensures a relaxed atmosphere focused on personal goals. As you cross the finish line, celebrate with us! You’ll receive a running T-shirt (shipped to your address in the US), a finisher’s towel or a surprise giveaway, and a medal. A digital training pack is also included, along with online results and a certificate of completion. Join our local run clubs for ongoing support on your fitness journey. Packet pickup is hassle-free—your swag will be shipped directly to you at no extra cost (please ensure accurate US mailing details). You’ll receive your T-shirt in the week leading up to the race, and we'll send out final details including course maps via email a week before. Latecomers are welcome; coordinators stay for an additional three hours after Wave A. Virtual runners can participate anytime and anywhere using any tracking device of their choice. After completing your run, submit results to receive your medal! Sign up now for more races and enjoy special discounts on future events. Interested in becoming a sponsor or volunteering? We have opportunities available—visit our website for details. Together, let's honor Dr. King’s dream by running with purpose and passion!
