Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day through our annual run dedicated to honoring Dr. King’s legacy and promoting social justice, equality, and peace. Lace up your shoes and join us as we commemorate his powerful message of love and resilience.
This event transcends mere fitness; it is a vibrant celebration of community and an inspiring call for action towards positive change. Whether you are running or walking, all paces and ages (under 18 with guardian) are welcome to participate in this inclusive run.
Experience a warm, stress-free environment as our coordinators support your journey from start to finish. Upon registration, we provide the tools needed to help achieve your fitness goals, including invitations to join local running clubs that will continue to support you post-event.
Timing is optional—track your time using apps like Strava or RunKeeper and submit it via a simple online form for public display. Alternatively, our coordinators can assist in timing if preferred.

Race Day Details:
- No packet pickup required; swag will be shipped directly to you (please ensure accurate US mailing address)
- Timing is optional and can be tracked through personal apps
- Race bibs provided on race day
When Will I Get My Swag?
Shirts will arrive at your mailing address the week of the event. Virtual participants receive a training pack with digital tools.
Race Updates:
Final details, including course maps, will be emailed to you two weeks before the run for last-minute registrants.
Wave Times (email info@thebestraces.com to select):
- Wave A: 7:30 AM
- Wave B: 8:00 AM
- Wave C: 8:30 AM
Late runners can join upon arrival, and our coordinators will stay for an additional three hours after the first wave.
Virtual Run Option:
Our virtual run offers a training pack with digital tools. Participants complete their runs at any time or place of choice using tracking devices of their preference. Submit your results to info@thebestraces.com to receive your medal!
