The route is meticulously crafted over five distinct trails, offering runners an immersive journey across diverse landscapes. Starting from the heart of Edgewater, participants will traverse the East Regional Rail Trail towards Deltona before shifting onto the Spring-to-Spring Trail through Gemini Springs and Lake Monroe Park. The race then takes a scenic turn along the Riverside Walk Trail alongside Lake Monroe's serene shoreline.
With aid stations spaced approximately every 8 to 12 miles apart, runners can expect well-stocked stops throughout their journey. Self-sufficiency is key as participants must carry hydration bottles or packs at all times. For those venturing into nightfall, lights and reflective vests are mandatory for safety reasons; failure to comply will result in disqualification.
