The MTRBT (Montagne Trail Rando Brûlante) returns to Saint-Vallier in the Drôme region for its second edition on August 29 and 30, 2026. This year’s event promises an even more comprehensive experience that combines athletic challenge with a convivial atmosphere. The weekend kicks off at Champis Stadium where the departure and arrival village will be set up. The Saturday schedule is designed to cater to families and includes children's races as well as the Marche du Montrebut, a 5.7 km walk, but the highlight of the day is undoubtedly the Challenge du Montrebut – an intense climb covering 3.3 kilometers with over 200 meters of elevation gain. On Sunday morning, trail runners take center stage for two challenging courses through the Plateau du Montrebut: - The long course: a 15 km route featuring 600 meters of positive elevation. - The short course: a 9 km trek offering 350 meters of ascent. For those looking to push their limits, the Pack Challenger offers an ambitious option. Participants can tackle both Saturday’s steep climb and one of Sunday's trails back-to-back over two days, earning them an exclusive t-shirt as a token of achievement. Throughout the event, visitors will enjoy various activities including children’s entertainment, food stalls, and refreshment points at the departure/arrival village, making for a weekend filled with camaraderie and celebration.
