My Breast Friends 5K 2026

The My Breast Friends 5K 2026 returns to Eugene, Oregon on June 14th.
This five-kilometer run takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Willamette Park, a verdant green space nestled among the rolling hills and neighborhoods of Eugene. At race morning, expect a cool early summer breeze as temperatures hover around 58°F with high humidity levels making it feel slightly warmer than the actual temperature.
The event has been running since its inception in 2013, raising over $467,904 for breast cancer awareness and research through the years. Over 1,200 participants have joined to support this cause, making it a significant gathering that strengthens the local community's bond with health advocacy.
The race course is set along Willamette Park’s firm yet slightly soft terrain, offering scenic views of the park as well as engaging urban landmarks such as the University of Oregon campus. The route layout includes gentle inclines and declines to keep runners engaged throughout the five-kilometer distance. A notable feature on this course are the two water stations placed strategically at key points along the way.
On race morning, participants will gather for a 5K run that begins at 8:30am sharp. The finish line is just as picturesque, marking the end of the journey through Eugene’s beautiful parks and streets. The UV index on race day reaches Very High levels (UV Index = 8.0), so sun protection remains essential even in this firm surface environment.
Registration for the My Breast Friends 5K 2026 closes online June 12 at noon, after which you must register in person on race day from 8:30am to 9:45 am. The registration fee is $34.09 per participant.
Bibs can be picked up starting an hour before the event or on Saturday, June 13th between 2pm and 6 pm at Eugene Running Co., located at 1717 Willagillespie St in downtown Eugene. Bring a valid photo ID to verify your registration details.
The start location is at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and 14th Avenue in Eugene, Oregon (Bib Pick-up address also applies). Participants must be age 8 or older to participate; first-timers should ensure they have all necessary items for race day including proper running gear and comfortable footwear.
