The Nesters Market Squamish 50 takes place on August 15‑16, 2026, in Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. Events include 50 mile, 50 km, 23 km, and 50‑50 (50 mile + 50 km). • The courses showcase the best of Western Canada's mountainous terrain: glaciated peaks, coastal rainforest, granite slabs, and sweeping ocean views
• Start lines: 50 mile at Junction Park & O'Siyam Pavilion (Loggers Lane); 50 km at Alice Lake; 23 km at Capilano University
• Finish line for all distances at Junction Park

Kids Race — Free, Family‑Friendly:

• Saturday, August 15 at 11:30 AM at Junction Park
• Free entry — no registration fee
• Ages 12 and under (parental supervision required)

Registration — SOLD OUT, No Waitlist:

• All distances are sold out (1704 participants registered)
• No waitlist — once sold out, that's it
• No bib transfers under any circumstances
• No deferrals to future races
• Consider volunteering to get early entry into the following edition of SQ50

Refund & Cancellation Policy — 50% Refund Until May 1:

• Up to May 1: 50% refund of entry fees
• Up to July 31: drop down to a shorter distance (no refund of difference — cannot move up to a longer distance)
• No refunds after May 1 (except refund insurance option)
• Full refunds only for those who selected optional refund insurance during registration (covers illness, injury, family emergency, etc. — but not pandemics)
• Event cancellation insurance covers acts of nature, war, strikes, access issues — but NOT pandemics (as discovered during COVID)

Age Requirement — 19+ (with exception for 12‑18):

• Participants must be 19 years or older on race day
• Runners aged 12‑18 are accepted with a parental waiver signed onsite

Code of Ethics — No Athletes with Cheating Bans:

• You cannot complete registration if you have ever been banned from any event for cheating (doping, course cutting, or other means)
• No athlete who has served a cheating ban is eligible to participate
