About the Event

Experience the electrifying atmosphere of the Northeast Velodrome during its Summer Championship Series, set to take place on June 6th, 24th, July 12th and August 2nd, 2026. Each event will open its doors at 9 AM with racing commencing sharp at 10 AM.
The scratch race is a straightforward affair where the top five riders cross the finish line after completing their laps. For those seeking more excitement, the tempo race offers thrilling sprints every six laps, rewarding points based on position and performance. Points are doubled for finishing positions. Those who gain or lose laps will also see significant point adjustments.
In the elimination category, each lap sees the last rider eliminated until only two remain to sprint for victory in the final circuit. This dynamic format ensures a nail-biting conclusion every time.
The points race is an omnium-style event where riders compete across multiple disciplines. Sprints occur after every six laps, with top four positions earning varying point values. Points are further doubled at the finish line, creating intense competition throughout the race.
Masters categories for women and open men aged 45+ and above add a seasoned touch to the series. These races follow similar formats but cater specifically to experienced cyclists looking to showcase their skills in a challenging environment.
Each event promises an exhilarating ride with track bikes only allowed, ensuring a level playing field. The promoter reserves the right to adjust categories based on attendance or merge fields if necessary to meet minimum requirements for each race day.
Rider sign-in opens one hour before racing begins and closes 15 minutes prior to the start of events. For those aiming high in the omnium standings, competing across all four dates grants a valuable five-point bonus added to your final series score.
