About the Event

Starting 7:30 AM on Sunday, October 25 at the Yuexing Village Committee, Yangxin County, Huangshi, Hubei, this training race offers "Peak Madness" 21KM and "Wonderland Trail" 13KM categories. Registration is first-come, first-served, with early-bird pricing through August 31.
The 21KM (20.45km actual, 1,575m gain / 1,567m descent, ITRA 1 point) runs to a 4:30 PM cutoff; the 13KM (12.93km, 931m gain / 934m descent, ITRA performance points) runs to a 1:30 PM cutoff.
October's mild weather makes for an ideal mountain-summit outing -- climbing 862m Nanyanling, ridgeline foliage turning red, primeval forest and canyon streams along the way, with enough climbing for a solid long-distance training day.
