Welcome to the NHMS Race Series, where thrilling competition meets breathtaking scenery and challenging terrain! This series offers racers of all skill levels an opportunity to test their limits on diverse courses at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). Race days begin with a sign-in process that opens at 4:45 PM. Participants must pay a $10 entry fee directly to NHMS, while spectators can enjoy the event for just $5. The infield will open by 5:15 PM for warming up and getting into race mode. The series features four distinct courses, each offering unique challenges: - Road Course: Spanning approximately 2.3 miles with two short big ring hills, this course is ideal for those looking to push their endurance limits. The exact length of the race will vary based on available daylight but typically includes about 18 laps in July and August, reducing to around 15 laps in September. - Oval Course: A flat .9-mile circuit with no elevation gain, this course is perfect for those who want a smooth ride without any technical challenges. The use of chicanes will be announced before the race, ensuring racers are prepared. Generally run over 30 laps depending on daylight conditions. - Frontier Course: Located in the backstretch of NHMS grounds, this 1-mile course includes a moderately technical corner and a short incline. Perfect for honing your skills and building power, it typically consists of about 24 laps per race. - Magic Mile Course: Created in 2017, this one-mile circuit has quickly become a fan favorite due to its fun crit-like racing experience. The exact length is announced before each event but always includes the magic mile segment on Strava for additional insight and preparation. Race dates are set throughout April through September, providing ample opportunities for both regular participants and newcomers alike. New racers are encouraged to reach out to the race director with any questions or seek assistance during registration; this series fosters a welcoming environment where experienced riders eagerly assist new ones. NHMS Gate Entry Fee: A separate $10 entry fee is required at gate, payable directly to NHMS staff. This fee helps cover ambulance and personnel costs associated with hosting events on-site. Failure to pay will result in permanent disqualification from the series. Junior Racers (under 18 years old) must have a parent or guardian present for waiver signing. For those unable to attend, prior arrangements can be made directly with the race director. Whether you're an experienced rider looking for new challenges or someone just starting out, NHMS Race Series has something waiting for you this season!
