The Oxford Bunny Trail course is renowned for its gentle terrain, featuring rolling hills and soft surfaces that accommodate both runners and walkers. The 5K loop covers approximately half of this trail, offering scenic views and manageable inclines. Runners will start at the charming Oxford Town Hall on High Street, where they can expect a flat course with minimal elevation changes.
After crossing the finish line in the same location, participants are invited to enjoy post-race festivities such as a barbecue and other community events. Weather forecasts predict an average temperature of 11.3°C, with highs reaching up to 15.3°C, and humidity levels around 78%, making it slightly damp but not overly uncomfortable.
Wind speeds may reach up to 12 km/h, creating a gentle breeze that should be manageable for most runners. The Autumn Spectacle 5K has been an annual event since its inception in 2014, growing each year; over 300 participants joined the fun last year alone while supporting Pugwash Ground Search and Rescue.
