About the Event

The Duinloopcircuit returns for the fall and spring seasons organized by Stichting Halve van Katwijk. This series features six distinct races held across various dates throughout 2026 and early 2027, all taking place on a Saturday in picturesque Katwijk aan Zee.
The inaugural event is the Noordduinloop scheduled for October 10, 2026. Participants can choose to sign up individually or opt for an exclusive series package that offers several perks including consistent race numbers across events and one free entry if you complete all six races in the circuit.
New this year, each participant will receive a bib equipped with a chip timing system, ensuring accurate results regardless of whether they are competing solo or as part of the full series. Early registrants who sign up by Tuesday, October 3rd can pick up their race numbers at Running Center Katwijk on Thursday and Friday before the event to avoid any delays.
The Noordduinloop offers a variety of distances suitable for all ages and abilities:
- Kidsrun:
- A 0.5 km run for children aged 6 to 7 years, starting at 9:30 AM.
- An additional 1 km race for kids between the ages of 8 and 9 begins at 9:35 AM.
- For slightly older children, a longer 2 km Kidsrun is available from 9:45 AM onwards.
- Adult Races:
- A scenic 5 km course designed for runners aged 13 years and up will start promptly at 10:00 AM.
- The more challenging 10 km race, also open to those over the age of 13, follows immediately after with a start time of 10:00 AM as well.
Participants are encouraged to arrive early—preferably no later than half an hour before their respective starts—to ensure they have ample time for warm-up and preparation. The event is hosted by Atletiek Rijnsoever, located at Princedwarsstraat 2a in Katwijk aan Zee (postcode: 2225 GD). Free parking is available both on-site and nearby.
As part of the series' registration process, you can easily sign up multiple individuals through a single transaction. Early bird discounts apply until October 8th at midnight for those who register ahead of time.
The Noordduinloop promises an engaging day out in Katwijk aan Zee, complete with stunning coastal views and friendly competition among runners of all ages.
