North Florida 3 Day Trail Running Camp

New Years Trail Running Celebration!

In February 2025 I completed the entire Florida National Scenic Trail in the Fastest Known Time and it changed my life. Now I am on a mission to introduce this trail to as many people as possible in hopes that it changes yours too!! White Springs is a special town located in north Florida. Just an hour and a half from Jacksonville, an hour and a half from Tallahassee, and about an hour from Gainesville. It is a true trail town, with the Florida trail passing right through the historic downtown. With parks like Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center, Big Shoals, and Gar Pond just a stones throw away. There are hundreds of miles of trail systems located right in town. The goal is simple — get a rad group of trail runners together for a fun new years training weekend of the best trail running that Florida has to offer. Three back to back days of double digit mileage on my favorite trails in the state!

Don't want to camp?

Not into camping but still want to join us for the weekend of running? No worries! There is now a "group runs only" option for $59.99 for the entire weekend. You are responsible for booking your own accomodation. White springs has a handful of Airbnb's, and hotels are only 25 minutes away in Lake City.

Weekend Schedule

Thursday evening 4pm - Check in begins. 6pm - Group dinner and hangout before our night run 8pm - 6 mile night run/hike begins Friday - 10 mile loop in Suwannee River State Park 8am - Group breakfast and briefing for the day 9am - Caravan from campground to begin our run 9:30 am - Begin group run 4pm - Optional second run for the day from Big Shoals State Park (5 minutes from campground) - 5 miles 6pm - Group dinner / smores / hangout Saturday - 19 mile point to point route 8am - Group breakfast and briefing for the day 9am - Caravan from campground to begin our run 9:30am - Begin Run 6pm - Group dinner / smores / hangout Sunday - 13 mile loop (five minutes from campground) 8am - Group breakfast and briefing for the day 9am - Packup camp and prepare for checkout 9:30am - Checkout from campground 9:35am - Begin final run Everyone departs after this run. Depending on time, we may be allowed to go back and shower at the campground before leaving. For all runs there will be options to make the route shorter or longer. Our Saturday long run will have a water drop about halfway through the run. If you want to bank more miles for the weekend, you are welcome to go on an extra run or extend the routes however you please. This is YOUR training weekend so make the most of it!!

Training Weekend

Whether you are training for an ultramarathon or just looking for a fun weekend getaway to make new friends, this trail running camp is the perfect opportunity to bank some miles, explore new trails, and discover your community!! I hope you join us for a truly special and one of a kind training experience on these spectacular trails of north Florida.

What's included

3 nights of camping with the group 3 days of guided group trail runs with interactive maps + gpx files Smiles, laughter, story telling and memories that you will carry forever! This is a bare bones running camp! Participants are responsible for bringing their own gear (tent, cooking equipment, food, bug spray, trail shoes, all other essentials) for the entire weekend. The campground we will be sharing has shower facilities and laundry if needed. We will be located in the heart of White Springs, Florida with out the door access to dozens of trails. Pricing is $249/person. You have the option to either tent camp or car camp (sleep in your car). No RV's or large campers! Dogs are not allowed.

Carpooling

Carpooling is highly encouraged! We are limited on participation based on cars, so the more that carpool/ the fewer cars , the more people we can accept to join us!! The whole point is to spend a weekend with friends running trails, so convince your trail running bestie to tag along for a weekend of adventures!
