The Tuesday Night Omnium Series at Northeast Velodrome offers an exciting weekly competition, perfect for both seasoned cyclists and those just starting their track racing journey. This series provides a dynamic platform to hone your skills while enjoying consistent midweek action. The series features two distinct categories: Open (for experienced riders) and C / Novice Race (tailored for new and C-level racers). The latter is specifically designed to help beginners build their skills, awareness, and confidence in a supportive environment where more seasoned cyclists will offer guidance on positioning, pacing, and race flow. Each week brings varied omnium-style events including scratch races, tempo rides, points contests, and more. Field sizes may be adjusted based on registration numbers to ensure the best possible racing experience for all participants. While open gearing is typically allowed in Open categories unless otherwise noted, safety and respect are paramount at every level of participation. Pre-registration is strongly recommended but not mandatory. Join us each Tuesday evening as we celebrate the passion for cycling through friendly competition and camaraderie under the lights of Northeast Velodrome.
