About the Event
The Tuesday Night Omnium Series at Northeast Velodrome offers an exciting opportunity for cyclists of all skill levels, providing consistent midweek competition. This weekly racing series welcomes both seasoned riders and newcomers to track cycling. NEV Members enjoy free entry with the use of their membership discount code during registration. For those not yet members, there is a chance to join today and save on races throughout the season. Non-members can still participate at standard fees. The race categories are designed to cater to various skill levels: - Open (for experienced riders) - C / Novice Race (targeted for new and C-level racers) New participants will find the novice category ideal, focusing on building essential skills such as positioning awareness, pacing, and race dynamics. Experienced cyclists can also join the C / Novice Field Support group, where they provide valuable guidance to newer riders. The event format varies each week in an omnium-style setup, featuring a mix of scratch races, tempo events, points contests, and more. The field composition may be adjusted based on registration numbers to ensure fair competition across all categories. Race gears are unrestricted for the Open category unless otherwise noted. All participants must adhere to safe and respectful racing practices. To secure your spot, pre-registration is recommended but not mandatory. This series promises a dynamic and engaging experience, perfect for improving skills or simply enjoying competitive cycling in a supportive environment.
