Strömstad Löparklubb invites runners of all levels to join the 31st edition of November's Flotilla, an annual road race that marks the end of the racing season. The event offers two distance options: a 10-kilometer course and a shorter 5.3-kilometer route for those who prefer something more manageable.
The main attraction is the 10K loop, which features well-marked paths suitable for both elite runners aiming to set personal records and recreational joggers looking for an enjoyable autumn outing. The terrain on this scenic circuit is flat and easy to navigate, making it ideal for achieving your best times of the year.
For younger participants aged 12 or under, a one-kilometer fun run starts at noon, providing a safe and encouraging environment where kids can experience their first taste of racing.
The race day schedule kicks off with children's events in the morning followed by an afternoon start time for both adult courses. At Bojarskolan in Strömstad, runners will gather to participate in this festive celebration that brings together the local running community one last time before winter sets in.
Organizers are committed to ensuring a memorable experience for all participants and encourage everyone to arrive early to collect their race numbers or make any necessary changes to their registration. Late entrants can still sign up on-site at an additional fee of 25 kronor, with the deadline being midnight on November 5th online.
