The 3K "Cultural Village Exploration" category begins at 9:15 AM, featuring a scenic loop through the historic Jing Shan Village with its rich cultural heritage and beautiful landscapes. Participants will enjoy a gentle climb of 136 meters over a distance slightly longer than three kilometers, offering both parents and children an engaging introduction to trail running. The "Tea Sea Chase" for parent-child pairs starts at 9:00 AM on the same day, with independent runners beginning their journey half an hour earlier. This 9.4KM route takes participants through lush tea plantations surrounding Jing Shan Village, providing a breathtaking backdrop as they tackle a total ascent of 628 meters. The most challenging option is the "Buddhist Path Competition," which kicks off at 8:30 AM for solo runners only. Over its 13.2KM course and an elevation gain of 810 meters, this event offers panoramic views and steep ascents through rugged terrain, testing young athletes' endurance and determination. All participants will experience the stunning beauty of Jing Shan Village in autumn, with vibrant foliage adding to the scenic allure of the race route. The Onijie·LXZ Kids Mountain Trail Run is designed not only as a sporting event but also as an educational journey for children, introducing them to the rich cultural and natural heritage of this picturesque region. The races are open on a first-come-first-served basis until they reach full capacity, ensuring that all interested young athletes have the opportunity to participate in what promises to be an unforgettable adventure.
