Ontario Summit Trail Races

About the Event

Ontario Summit Trail Races

FarFetched Enterprises is excited to announce the 2026 Ontario Summit Trail Races. We hope that you will join us at Ontario County Park at Gannett Hill on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 for this unique trail experience.

Changes in 2026

There are going to be big changes to the race course this year. We'll be keeping the things that have worked and trying our best to smooth over some of the problem areas. One historic constraint has been trying to get enough miles to create a half marathon. Instead, we will focus on creating a short and a long course that make sense and focus less on the actual distance.

Location, Parking & Schedule

Race HQ is at Wilson Lodge in Ontario County Park at Gannett Hill. There is a parking lot next to Wilson Lodge, but this is reserved for race staff and volunteers. Driving past the Lodges, there is a one-way, counter-clockwise loop for accessing a baseball field and several pavilions. We have reserved these pavilions for event parking. We will be directing traffic on the day of the races, so keep an eye out for our volunteers. We would like to fill in spaces starting at the end of the loop, so keep driving forward on the loop until directed. Please do not park on the race course or on the main park road. Please do not park in the small lots by the jump off, as these are reserved for other visitors to the park. Note that the main park road is one-way, counter-clockwise, so be careful when leaving the park. 7:00AM - Packet pickup and same day registration open @ Wilson Lodge 8:00AM - Early start of the long course 8:45AM - Packet pickup and same day registration closes 9:00AM - Regular start of the long course 9:05AM - Packet pickup and same day registration re-open 9:45AM - Packet pickup closes 10:00AM - Start of the short course 11:00AM - Post-race food and drink available

Friday Activities

We will be offering all racers the option to tent or vehicle camp in the area by the lodges. There is also the option to use one of the campsites or cabins at the park, but athletes will need to make their own arrangements with Ontario County Parks . We'll have some casual Friday night social events starting around 7:00PM. We may have some light snacks available, but dinner is on your own. You will have access to several outdoor grills by the lodges, along with some kitchen equipment if you want to cook. Some area restaurants include: Brew and Brats (4 min drive) Roots Cafe (10 min drive) Naples Wood Fired Pizza (12 min drive) Birdhouse Brewing (19 min drive) Saturday morning we'll put out some breakfast foods consisting of fruit, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and baked goods from Plenty the Bakery .

Post-Race Activities

Hand-made burritos from R's Market ! Beer from Peacemaker Brewing and a wide selection of other beverages! A variety of fruit and snacks! In Motion Physical Therapy FLX will be at the finish to offer athlete support and answer PT questions Cheering for finishers!
