The event begins at 2:00 PM sharp on Puccinistraße near Mahlerstraße in Berlin's vibrant district of Weißensee. The race route is not marked, so participants must rely on GPS technology to navigate the course accurately. With only ten spots available for this intimate gathering, it’s essential that each runner registers early and arrives prepared.
As you set off from Puccinistraße, expect a journey through picturesque neighborhoods before heading towards Spindlersfeld in the south of Berlin. The route features varied terrain and stretches of open countryside, making it an ideal challenge for seasoned athletes looking to test their navigation skills alongside their endurance.
Upon reaching S-Bahnhof Spindlersfeld, participants will cross the finish line after covering a full marathon distance. Since timing is unassisted by race officials, runners must use GPS devices or smartphones to record both their elapsed time and total distance covered. To submit results officially, competitors should email an informative proof of completion including details such as start time, end time, traveled route map, and overall distance.
All participants will have the opportunity to see their names listed on Race Result alongside earned certificates once race outcomes are published online following the event. Please note that this is a non-DLV (Deutsche Langstreckenverband) sanctioned event, meaning participants must secure their own insurance coverage as well as bear any liability for personal injury or damage.
